Play for a Promise brings together eight local high school teams for a single-elimination basketball tournament — all in support of osteosarcoma awareness and research through Matty’s Promise.

Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025
Time: Doors Open at 8:30 AM; Games start at 9:00 AM and continue to 5:00 PM
Location: Memorial Gym, St. John’s Prep - 72 Spring Street, Danvers, MA
Entry Fee: $10 - Tickets can be purchase in advance or Cash/Venmo at the door. Come and go as you please — your ticket gives you access all day!
About the Event
This tournament honors the life and legacy of Matt Torgersen, whose courage and compassion continue to inspire our mission.
All proceeds benefit Matty’s Promise, dedicated to raising awareness and funding research for osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer that affects children and young adults.
