Play for a Promise brings together eight local high school teams for a single-elimination basketball tournament — all in support of osteosarcoma awareness and research through Matty’s Promise.

Now in its second year, the Play for a Promise Basketball Tournament honors the life and legacy of Matt Torgersen, whose courage, compassion, and unwavering spirit continue to inspire our mission.
All proceeds benefit Matty's Promise, helping raise awareness and fund research for osteosarcoma—a rare and aggressive bone cancer that primarily affects children, teens, and young adults.
